Dream Center

Legacies & Miracles purchased eight acres of land in a community of critical need in Uganda to bring the gospel and to transform lives with a new church, Christian nursery and primary school, a training discipleship center, and to provide resources for businesses to generate local income for sustainability.

“They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Church

There is no Christian church present in the community surrounding Legacies & Miracles new Dream Center.

School

Educate the mind, the heart, and the soul. A quality education rooted in Christian values can empower a child to be a valuable member of a thriving society.

Medical Center

Building a local clinic nearby on the school and church site will provide accessible medical care for common illnesses

Training Center

The training center will be for vocational instruction for people in the community to have the opportunity to learn a new trade or skill in order for them to get a new job or even start a business.

Steps towards Completion

Dig the well and install a pump

Well has been bored and manual pump installed. Later a pressurized water system will be installed.

Install a pit latrine

Pit latrine is currently in development and should be finished soon.

Install a perimeter fence

Before any buildings are completed and activities start, a perimeter fence needs to be installed for security.

Build the first building

The first building to be constructed will be the future medical center. It is the smallest building and allows for the quickest way to start having church and engage the community. Later it will transition to a medical center.

Install electricity

In order for electricity to be installed, about four power poles will need to be installed along the street.

Beyond TBD

Once the infrastructure is in place and the space is beginning to be utilized, the next steps towards site completion will be realized.
